Essence Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited “EAM” was registered and established on October 29, 2009, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Essence International and backed by the major shareholder, State Development &Investment Corporation Limited "SDIC" in China . EAM is a licensed corporation under HKSFC, holding Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) licenses. The company focuses on both offshore and cross border investment management and advisory service to institution clients.

QFII/RQFII
• Total of RMB 2.4 billion RQFII and USD 100 million QFII quota approved by State Administration of Foreign Exchange for open-end funds and other products or funds
• Customized product solution and structure according to customer needs.
Fund Management
• EAM is currently managing active funds across china equity, USD fixed income and other areas.
• EAM will set up various investment strategies according to market backdrop and customer needs.
Managed Account
• It’s a fully discretionary account management business. Areas of Hong Kong / China equity, fixed income, offshore IPO, are included in the scope of the investment portfolio.
